Project Overview:

Property Tasker is a modern platform that connects landlords, tenants, property managers, and contractors to streamline property maintenance and task management. The client needed a comprehensive digital solution — one that is easy to use, fully role-based, and scalable as their user base grows.

We were tasked with building the platform from the ground up, covering branding, UI/UX, system architecture, and responsive development for both web and mobile access.

Objectives:

• Design a clean, intuitive platform that supports four distinct user roles (Tenant, Contractor, Property Manager, Landlord)
• Enable real-time task tracking, image uploads, chat communication, and status updates
• Build a secure, scalable back-end and a mobile-responsive UI
• Ensure ease of onboarding for non-technical users

Design & UX Approach:

• Role-Centric Dashboard Design: Each user type sees only what’s relevant to them — from tenants logging tasks to contractors updating work status.
• Mobile-First Design System: Created a responsive experience that works seamlessly across devices, especially for on-the-go contractors and tenants.
• Simple, Guided Workflows: Task posting, status updates, and communication flows were designed to minimise friction and training time.
• Visual Clarity: Used iconography, colours, and visual states to enhance status tracking and user engagement.

Development Highlights:

• Built a custom multi-role platform with secure authentication and permission layers
• Implemented real-time communication features between property managers, tenants, and contractors
• Developed a task engine with statuses, attachments, notes, and timestamps
• Integrated notifications, reminders, and filters to support fast, effective task completion
